Dr. Kenneth Will is an Associate Professor Emeritus in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Will earned his BSCE from the University of Arkansas in 1969 and his MSCE and PhD degrees from the University of Texas at Austin in 1971 and 1975, respectively. His primary research and teaching interests are in the area of computer-aided structural engineering and computational mechanics. Research projects have focused on the continued development of GTSTRUDL, parallel computing, and the automation of design based on finite element results. Dr. Will has served as Co-Director of the Computer-Aided Structural Engineering (CASE) Center which developed GTSTRUDL, a fully-integrated finite element analysis and structural design Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) system used by civil/structural engineers and students in over 30 countries. In addition, Dr. Will is active in ASCE technical committees dealing with computer-aided structural engineering.
